The automatic safety shut-off feature stops the stimulus from both the transmitter and the receiver to prevent accidental or prolonged stimulation.

Transmitter Battery The EZT series systems use NiMH rechargeable batteries in both the transmitters and the receivers. The batteries for the transmitter are user replaceable. Collar batteries, however, are a different matter. The batteries for the EZT collar receivers are completely sealed inside the unit. This is what enables the collar to be waterproof. So to replace the battery in an EZT collar it must be sent in here to our repair center, so that the unit can be resealed. If you have any questions please just let us know
